When does your trip begin and end?

You can take out the foreign health insurance at any time before the start of the trip – the first day of the trip is at the same time the date of commencement of the insurance. The insurance ends on the last day of the trip.

Who is travelling?

A group consists of at least 10 people and, in the case of rail travel, at least 6 people. The date and destination of travel must be same for all group passengers.

Under the annual insurance, a family is defined as up to 2 adults and up to 7 children under the age of 21 who are resident in the Federal Republic of Germany.

The price of this insurance depends on age (up to 64 or over 65 years of age). The determining factor in the price calculation is the entry age when the policy commences.

This insurance cover is available only to persons who are permanently resident in the Federal Republic of Germany.
